The 2.0 Conferences leadership team

CODE OF CONDUCT

We believe great ideas grow in spaces where people feel respected, heard, and welcomed. Keeping this in mind, our Code of Conduct outlines how we work together to preserve that atmosphere.

The 2.0 Conferences community includes five global events: Health 2.0 Conference, Education 2.0 Conference, CXO 2.0 Conference, FUELD Conference, and the Founders 2.0 Conference. Participants join us from many places and professional backgrounds, and our events take place in international destinations such as Dubai, UAE, Singapore, and Las Vegas, USA. To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone involved, we’ve included a set of expectations that apply both during the conference and when engaging through the App.

1. Respect For Host Cities, Local Laws, And Venues

Every city we host an event in has its own local laws, cultural expectations, and venue requirements. Participants are expected to follow these guidelines during their time at our events. This includes observing venue rules, respecting hotel and meeting space policies, cooperating with security procedures, and remaining mindful of the cultural environment of the host country. A little courtesy toward the local setting helps ensure that everyone feels welcome, and it allows the event to run smoothly for all.

2. Professional And Considerate Conduct

The conference environment relies on respectful interactions. Whether you are speaking with another attendee, asking a question during a session, visiting an exhibit booth, or participating in a conversation in the App, please keep your communication courteous and appropriate.

3. A Safe, Inclusive, And Welcoming Community

Creating an environment where everyone feels welcome is a shared responsibility, and we appreciate the care our community brings to interactions both in person and within the App. Behavior that singles out, harms, or diminishes another person has no place at our conferences. This includes remarks or actions that relate to someone’s nationality, cultural background, race, gender, age, disability, religion, appearance, or any other personal characteristic.

Thoughtful communication and respect for the diversity of people around you will help ensure that every attendee can learn, network, and engage in a positive atmosphere.

4. Responsibilities Of Attendees

The energy of the conference comes from our attendees, and we value your engagement during sessions and your cooperation with any instructions provided by our staff so that registration, QR check-in, seating, and movement around the venue can run as smoothly as possible. Simple actions such as arriving on time, keeping noise to a minimum during talks, and respecting shared spaces all contribute to a better experience for everyone.

When using the App to connect with others, please treat the networking, messaging, digital business card, and referral features as professional tools. The App is intended to support meaningful and respectful interactions, not unsolicited promotion or inappropriate communication.

If you notice behavior, either in person or within the App, that feels uncomfortable, unsafe, or inconsistent with this Code of Conduct, we would sincerely appreciate you letting a member of our team know or contacting us at contact@the2conf.com. Early reporting allows us to respond calmly and discreetly, and helps us maintain a conference environment where all attendees can participate with confidence.

5. Responsibilities Of Speakers

Speakers help set the tone for the entire conference experience, and their sessions often become highlights for our attendees. We appreciate speakers who share their expertise clearly, stay focused on their topic, and present in a way that is accessible to a global audience. Thoughtful preparation, respect for the diversity of listeners in the room, and an awareness of the cultural and professional backgrounds represented at our events go a long way in creating an engaging session.

We encourage speakers to keep their content aligned with the purpose of their presentation and to steer clear of commentary that may feel unrelated or uncomfortable for participants. A considerate presence on stage, as well as during any interactions before or after sessions, helps foster a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

6. Expectations For Exhibitors, Sponsors, And Partners

Exhibitors and sponsors play an important role in shaping the atmosphere of our expo halls, and their presence helps create an engaging and informative experience for attendees. To keep the environment enjoyable for everyone, booth interactions should feel welcoming and helpful rather than forceful or intrusive. Clear communication, approachable staff, and thoughtful engagement make a lasting positive impression and encourage meaningful conversations.

All booth materials, displays, demonstrations, and promotional items should comply with the guidelines of the host venue and the regulations of the country in which the event is held. Maintaining awareness of attendee comfort, respecting personal space, and being mindful of the activity around neighboring booths contribute greatly to the overall flow and energy of the exhibition area. When exhibitors and sponsors create an inviting and considerate space, it enhances the experience not only for visitors but for the entire conference community.

7. Health, Safety, And Overall Well-Being

Participant well-being is a priority. Please follow any safety guidance provided by the venue or by conference staff. If a health or security situation arises, remaining calm and following instructions helps ensure everyone’s protection.

If you notice something that may require attention or if you are not feeling well, letting a staff member know allows us to respond appropriately and maintain a safe space for all attendees.

8. Responsible Use Of The App

The App is designed to support the conference experience through features such as messaging, digital business cards, meeting requests, referrals, interactive agendas, and exhibitor information. These tools are intended for professional use. Any communication that is inappropriate, harassing, unwanted, misleading, or unrelated to the event should be avoided.

The App should not be used to promote activities that are illegal or restricted in the host city. Messages sent through the App are not private and in the case of reported misuse, our team may review communication to maintain a safe environment. Persistent misuse may result in limited access to certain features or removal from the App and/or event altogether.

9. When Concerns Arise

If you see or experience something that feels uncomfortable, unsafe, or inconsistent with this Code of Conduct, we encourage you to reach out to our onsite team or email us at contact@the2conf.com. Your concerns will be treated respectfully and kept as confidential as possible.

Prompt reporting allows us to support you and address issues effectively.

10. Consequences For Violations

If a participant behaves in a manner that violates this Code, we may take appropriate action depending on the circumstances. This could include a conversation to address the issue, removal from a particular session, a request to leave the venue, suspension of App access, or, in severe cases, involvement of venue security or local authorities.

Please note that our focus remains on maintaining an environment where everyone feels supported and able to take part fully in the conference experience. We want each attendee, speaker, exhibitor, sponsor, and partner to feel comfortable, respected, and confident while participating in sessions, exploring the expo floor, or using the App.

By addressing issues promptly and fairly, we aim to keep the atmosphere welcoming, productive, and enjoyable for everyone involved. Our team is always here to help ensure that the conference continues to reflect the professionalism and spirit of community that define The 2.0 Conferences.
